A documented, structured process
Seven steps that take you from the initial form to the certificate issuance, conducted with transparency and minimal bureaucracy, without compromising on technical rigor.
Request and technical proposal
You fill in the form with the company and product data.
Our team analyzes the applicable scope and comes back with a detailed proposal of timeline, scope and cost within 2 business days.
Approval, contract and assessment
Once the proposal is approved, we formalize the contract.
Conformity assessment is the central step: it may include document review, auditing at the manufacturer,
sample testing and on-site inspection.
Critical review and decision
The decision is made by a professional not involved in the assessments, ensuring full impartiality.
It is a structural requirement of our operation as an accredited body.
Issuance and maintenance of the certificate
We issue the Certificate of Conformity with a defined validity period and authorize use of the seal.
We carry out periodic audits and tests to ensure that the product or service remains in conformity.
What your company gets
Once you receive the Certificate of Conformity, your company gains rights and responsibilities regarding the use of the brand and the conformity mark.
- Authorization to use the CTBC/INMETRO seal on certified products within the scope
- Certificate with a defined validity period and corresponding scope number
- Access to the surveillance program and technical support during the validity period
- Inclusion in the public list of CTBC-certified clients
